Chemical components and performance parameters of wear-resistant alloy layer are listed as follows:
1. Carbon 4~5% 
2. Chromium: 25~30%
3. Volume percentage of Cr7C3: >50%
4. Micro hardness: HRC56~62 
5. Harness of chromium carbide: HV1400~1800   
6. Since carbides are perpendicular to the direction of wearing surface, even comparing with the cast alloy which has the same composition and same hardness, the wear-resistance performance of clad metals is 2 times of it does. Comparing with several typical metals, the wear-resistance performance is 20-25 times of low carbon steel does; 1.5-2.5 times of high chromium cast iron does.

Our recommended working temperature is less than 600ºC to wear-resistant alloy layer. However, it can bear higher temperature wear when it is less and equal to 800ºC once adding vanadium alloy, molybdenum alloy, etc. Recommended working temperature to several metals:general steel backer:less than 380ºC; heat resistance low alloy steel backer like 15CrMo,12Cr1MOV:  less than 540ºC; heat resistance stainless steel backer: less than 800ºC.

There is high percentage of chromium in wear-resistant clad material. That is why the clad metals have the good rust resistance and corrosion-resistance. It can prevent sticky coal when using in the coal drop tube and funnel.

Explosion welding Introduction 
Metal dynamic clad technology (explosion welding or explosion cladding technology) uses high energy from explosive detonation to produce a metallurgical weld between metal plates. It can produce high voltage pulse energy, pushing cladder collide with backer at a specific velocity and impact angle. That process produces much bigger stress than the yield strength of metal material. All these happen at instantaneous moment and simultaneously infinitesimal adjacent area of collision point of limited loading stress of materials, realizing wavelike metallurgical weld of two materials.
