We use high standard material for melting, and this help us can control the chemical component strictly, especially the P content. We use high standard spectrum analyze machine to check all chemical component for every melting, and keep the inspection sample for more than 3 years. To get higher wear performance, we use less than 30% scrap castings as melting material.
We have different process for cones production, including sodium silica sand process and LFC process. Sodium silica sand process is the most mature process for such high manganese steel cones and it is the most process been used in most of the foundries. LFC process is new process used in wear parts production. By this process we can get the best surface quality along with excellent wear resistant performance.
